Apochromatic Design
In addition to thoroughly eliminating various aberrations including axial chromatic aberration, we also pursue the ultimate in resolution and contrast reproduction.
Classical exterior
The retractable design is reminiscent of the rangefinder lenses that appeared in the 1950s. All parts are made of metal, and the texture and operability are excellent, providing the joy of owning the lens.
Two exterior variations
The exterior of the main body is available in two types: a heavy model with a silver brass exterior (body weight 250g), and a lightweight model with black paint and some aluminum parts (body weight 175g)
The minimum shooting distance is 0.35m
The minimum shooting distance of the rangefinder is now 0.7m, making it possible to focus at a distance of 0.35m. This is extremely useful when shooting with a camera equipped with the Live View function
Click the branch point of the rangefinder coupling range
It is equipped with a mechanism that allows you to recognize the branching point of the rangefinder coupling range with a click sensation during focus operation.
Metal hood and cap included
Each model comes with a matching metal screw-on hood and metal slip-on cap in either black or matt black painted finish.
Manual focus for precise focus control
The all-metal helicoid unit is machined and adjusted with high precision, and the use of high-quality grease that produces just the right amount of torque makes focusing feel smooth and allows for subtle focus adjustments.
Bayonet VM mount
The lens mount uses the VM mount, which is compatible with the Leica M mount.
Equipped with rangefinder interlocking system
The high-precision rangefinder linkage mechanism enables precise focusing even at maximum aperture.
Full size image circle
It has a large image circle that is compatible with full-size 35mm format.
*The black-finished mount will not recognize the lens when used with a camera equipped with a system that reads the attached lens with a 6-bit code. Please turn off lens detection before use. Please set the lens detection to OFF (If the LEICA M11 firmware is lower than V1.30, please set to AUTO).
